Our Delicious Products
What makes your gingerbread so special?
Our gingerbread isn't just a cookie; it's an experience! Every batch is baked using the finest, all-natural ingredients and a whole lot of love. They are the softest, chewiest, juiciest gingerbread cookies you'll ever taste, made with real spices and pure goodness. No artificial colors or harmful ingredients, just Louisiana tradition baked right in.
Do you offer products other than gingerbread cookies?
While our famous gingerbread and king cakes are the stars of the show, we love to bake up all sorts of seasonal treats and special goodies! Keep an eye on our website and sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know about new and exciting flavors.
What ingredients do you use? Do you accommodate allergies?
We believe in wholesome, pure ingredients. Our classic recipes include non-bromated flour, butter, sugar, molasses, a special blend of spices, and all-natural food colorings. For a complete list of ingredients for a specific product, please check the product's page. Please be aware that our products are made in a kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, and wheat.
How long are my gingerbread cookies good for?
Your cookies are fresh for two weeks—just enough time to enjoy their deliciousness! We believe in keeping things natural, so they’re not loaded with preservatives. Thanks to our innovative packaging, they maintain peak freshness for up to two weeks before starting to stale.
Can I freeze my gingerbread cookies?
Absolutely! Maybe your eyes were a little bigger than your stomach, and you ordered a few too many treats. Or you’re planning a big event and want to make sure your cookies arrive in time. To keep your cookies fresh, pop them in the freezer as soon as they arrive! Freezing keeps them delightful for up to a month. We recommend allowing your cookies to thaw at room temperature for at least 2-4 hours before you intend to enjoy them.
Shipping & Delivery
PLEASE NOTE: We do not deliver to PO boxes.
How do you ship your fresh-baked cookies and king cakes?
Cookies
To make sure every cookie arrives perfectly fresh and delightfully chewy, we ship them with extra care! We send all our cookie packages via FedEx 2-Day service.
King Cakes
To ensure they get to you at peak freshness, we use Next Day Air Shipping for all King Cake orders. The shipping cost is included in the price of our King Cakes, so you don't pay any additional shipping costs at checkout. The Next Day Shipping Air cut off is midnight the day before.
We at Gingerbread Twins and our shipping provider do everything in our power to ensure your order delivers overnight, however there is always a possibility your king cake may be delayed and delivered the second day.
PLEASE NOTE: Gingerbread Twins is not responsible for any delivery delays caused by weather conditions, inaccurate or incomplete shipping address information (i.e. wrong or missing apartment or suite number, wrong zip code, etc.), high package volume, mechanical errors, or transit route delays.
When will my order ship?
We only ship orders Monday-Friday. If you place an order Friday-Sunday, your order will be shipped on Monday.
Cookies
To keep your treats fresh and avoid weekend layovers, we ship orders Monday through Thursday only. This helps ensure everything arrives soft, juicy, and ready to enjoy. Excluding major holidays, here’s how our shipping schedule works:
- Orders placed Sunday–Wednesday: Ship the next day
- Orders placed Thursday–Saturday: Ship the following Monday
King Cakes
To ensure you can celebrate with a fresh and delicious cake, we ship King Cakes using Next Day Air. The Next Day Shipping Air cut off is midnight the day before.
How can I track my order?
Once your box of joy is on its way, you’ll receive an email with all the tracking information. You can follow your package's journey right to your doorstep! If you don’t receive your tracking information within the schedule listed under "When will my order ship?," email us at hello@gingerbreadtwins.com.
How much does shipping cost?
Orders of $39.99+ always ship FREE! Orders under $39.99 ship anywhere in the continental USA for a flat rate of $9.99. We work to keep these costs as low as possible while ensuring your cookies arrive fresh and fast.
What if there's a delay with my delivery?
While we do our best to get your goodies to you on time, sometimes shipping carriers experience unexpected delays. We recommend keeping a close eye on your tracking number for the most up-to-date information. If your package seems stuck, let us know, and we'll help look into it!
